Hi all,

Actually iMessages can be on a Mac (in the OS X ) as well as the version on iOS devices.

There is a thread in iChat that refers to Apps for PCs that can do it.

However iMessages creates Unique Logins based on the Serial Number as well as the Apple ID or iPhone Number to login and other apps whether PC or Android are unlikely to get past this hurdle.

Hi,

A Search revealed this http://techland.time.com/2013/09/24/an-imessage-app-is-now-available-for-android -but-theres-a-catch/

Looks more like a phishing attempt than something that works. The Article is dated Sept 2013.

...

There’s just one teeny, tiny, itty, bitty asterisk: In order to trick Apple’s servers into thinking Android-sent messages are coming from an Apple device, those messages apparently get routed through a third-party server in China, and you have to log in using your Apple ID and password. From the sounds of it, you’re basically trusting the app’s developer not to do anything nefarious with your Apple credentials.

...

Okay I have two questions. The first one is if my friend sends me an imessage to be received by this app, is sent through the third-party server? And also would this server in China have access to anything else be sides my apple ID?
